CEDAR joins the prestigious list of IPSI Members!
The IPSI steering committee has included CEDAR as a member organization of IPSI. The Satoyama Initiative (IPSI) was established on 19 October 2010, during the 10th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD COP 10) held in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. This international effort promotes activities consistent with existing fundamental principles including the Ecosystem Approach. The core vision is to realize societies in harmony with nature, that is, built on positive human-nature relationships.

Pani, Pahar - The Water Curriculum
Pani, Pahar - Water of the Himalayas’–The Water Curriculum is a FREELY available resource on changing landscapes and escalating water crises in the Indian Himalaya for schools and educational outreach.
The curriculum was jointly developed by the Department of Geography, University of Cambridge, England, The Hearth Education Advisors, Indian, the Southasia Institute for Advanced Studies, Kathmandu and CEDAR.
